West Ham – Simply No Rhodes.

January is getting ever closer and so the transfer speculation hots up daily regarding Town’s Hot-Shot striker Jordan Rhodes.

The 21-year-old Scottish International has been in sensational form scoring 20 goals in 20 appearances this season.

That form has attracted many Premier League vultures to the Galpharm as well as Scottish giants Celtic.

The latest club to be linked is West Ham United who have reportedly made an initial £3million enquiry which has been automatically rejected by Huddersfield.

Chairman Dean Hoyle and manager Lee Clark have both insisted that Rhodes will be going absolutely no-where during the Transfer window – But that will not stop the speculation!

West Ham gaffer Sam Alardyce confirmed to Sky Sports News HD:-

‘Jordan Rhodes has only been an enquiry, not an offer or a bid by any stretch of the imagination,’

‘And we have had a straightforward ‘absolute no’, ‘not for sale’ from Huddersfield Town so that’s out of equation.’

‘That was just an enquiry to see what the situation was and nothing more than that.’

So what if the Hammers upped their bid would Allardyce be going back in with a fresh bid?

‘I don’t think so. He is the main man for them to get them out of that division. This young lad is their main goalscorer,”

‘I suppose if the bid was big enough they would have to think about it, but I don’t think we have that sort of money.’

So Town fans no need to worry on this occasion but if a club did offer some amazing money – What would you do?

Is he simply priceless at the moment?

What would you do if offered £10million?

Have your say here!

For me he is priceless and is showing this season why he should have started more games last season! (especially the play-off final!!)

West Ham United chase Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes

West Ham United have reportedly made a £3m offer for Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes.

The 21-year-old is bound to have plenty of clubs chasing him in the January transfer window after netting 20 goals in as many league matches this season.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has made no secret of his wish to add to their squad next month in a bid to steer his side back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
