A cunning ploy!

I`m not sure if Karren Brady was trying to talk up our chances of emerging as the ideal candidate to move into the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 games have been completed and the Stadium modified, but she had a good point to bring to the table yesterday.

It was almost as if Karren wanted to keep the Olympic feel-good factor going when she mentioned that by moving into a larger capacity stadium it would give West Ham United the chance to lower ticket prices to enable more of the younger generation to become involved with the club.

Naturally, we assume, Karren has done her sums and knows that lowering the prices but with an increased capacity, providing the tickets are shifted, means that match-day revenue can still be increased.

The only downside being that a large swathe of the Hammers support is against the move in the first place!
