RIP Franklin van Dalen RIP

Je zal altijd in onze harten zitten maat, Heb je zelf maar 2x meegemaakt maar in die korte tijd heb je een onvergetelijke indruk achter gelaten, Dat weekend tegen Millwank toen je met het idee bij mij kwam voor 1 september, en het weekend  van de finale waar alles fout ging wat fout kon gaan, maar waar we volgens jou later hard om zouden kunnen lachen. Zal het allemaal nooit vergeten.

As news is spread far and wide
A Hammers Brother has sadly died
As we held on to your hand
You slipped away and left this land

We stand alone, and yet as one
In memory to a West Ham son
Here we gather to say goodbye
Those pretty Bubbles, they fly so high

The padre calls us all to pray
The bugler has Last Post to play
We light a candle, for you the flame
We will recall, with pride, your name

Our group in silence stood in place
As tears roll down the hardest face
Deafening silence fills the air
With each of us in personal prayer

For you our comrade, your work is done
Always remembered, forgotten by none
and as you leave for lands anew
